Hi I'm Kelly - the founder of Western Salt. I grew up on my Grandparent’s farm and my Dad's property; both located in the Southwest Region of Western Australia. As children my siblings, cousins and I spent our time in the shearing sheds, outside exploring, fishing and helping out with the animals and crops.

Western Salt represents a massive part of my life and my love for all the things that mean the most to me. My Grandad (pictured above) comes from multiple generations of Australian farmers and is a big part of the inspiration behind the ‘Western’ in the name Western Salt. He was always up early to make the most of the day and always ready for a hard day's work. Like most old-school Australian farmers, he was as tough as they come - yet always kind, gentle, and a soft place to land for those he loved. He is a massive influence on the person I am today. He encouraged me to work hard for what I have, to travel, to love deeply, and to love what I do.
